My Results With Cascade Platinum (and Your Chance to Win a New Kitchen!)

I know you’ve been waiting to hear what my results were after using Cascade Platinum tabs in my dishwasher this week. Was I happy? Most importantly, would I go out and buy them to use again?  The answer to both is a resounding YES!

During the week, I did three loads of dishes in the dishwasher using the Cascade Platinum tabs.  The first time, I set the dish washer to “pots & pans” and “high temp scrub” like I usually do. (We’ve found that those settings yield the best results – although we usually have several pieces that need to be hand washed.)  That first load came out spotless – literally – so I decided to do the next load on “normal” and see what happened.

The next load also came out spotless. Plus, the cycle took less time – victory! By now, the rinse agent we add to the little cup in the door was empty and I decided to really put Cascade Platinum to the test.  I ran the third cycle with just the tab. Guess what? No spots, no left on food.  I can honestly say that I don’t think that has ever happened before with this dishwasher. Some of the foggy white build up that we have been getting on our glasses disappeared too.

Since we have more company over during the summer months, I love to create refreshing summer drinks and garnish them with herbs from my garden. Nothing is more embarrassing than pulling out a glass to serve up a drink, and finding it covered in spots and cloudy film! The drink may be delicious, but if the glass looks bad, I don’t want to serve it.
