Need an Exterminator in the Milwaukee Area??

Those of you who follow my Facebook Page (And if you don’t already, you should go like it now. It’s okay, I’ll wait!)  know that we’ve been battling yellow jackets over here at Wisconsin Mommy Manor.  Jay tried spraying them will eight – yes, eight- bottles of Raid, but the yellow jackets were not deterred. After I got stung on the ankle while watering the garden, I put my rapidly swelling foot down and insisted we get a professional exterminator in to deal with them.

I did the traditional internet search and came up with a few names and companies to call. It was a Sunday, so I fired off emails to all of the companies and figured I’d get some responses first thing Monday morning and hopefully have it taken care of fairly quickly.  One company not only replied on Sunday, but also asked a few clarifying questions about where the nasty things were located and whether we had pets or kids that played in the area. (The rest of the companies did follow up with quotes the following day and one called and tried to sell me on an ongoing yearly package.)

Just to be safe, I had my dad look up the first company on Angie’s List and read me the glowing reviews before I went ahead and contacted Mike at Pest Management Solutions.  Please know that this is not a sponsored or solicited review.  I just know how helpful it can be to hear about another person’s experience with a company before inviting them into your home. I always like to give an honest shout out to other small businesses who are doing it right!!

Mike from Pest Management Solutions responded quickly and had several dates and times for me to choose from.  He arrived early (after calling to make sure that was okay) and carefully assessed the situation.  He even found a second nest we hadn’t noticed before explaining exactly how he was going to handle them.  Afterwards, he explained his follow-up and guarantee policies and let me know what to expect.  He was extremely professional and personable and I was thrilled with the level of care and service we received!

The ultimate test is always “would I hire him again?” and “would I recommend him to friends and family?” and Mike gets a resounding YES on both counts!  Even though you may not need an exterminator at the moment, bookmark the Pest Management Solutions website NOW so that it is handy should a swarm of yellow jackets suddenly take up residence in your home too!
