A Decent Proposal

I am having trouble gathering my thoughts and composing a coherent post with all that is going on this week: Parent’s Night at Little J’s school, Open House (meet the teacher and drop off supplies), new teacher day in my district, catching up on all of the things that fell by the wayside while I was recovering, getting the water softener fixed/replaced…it never ends!

So, in lieu of an actual post, I will leave you with this proposal which I am considering sending off to the hospital where I had my surgery:

“Please wait until the patient is fully recovered from his/her throat surgery before sending an enormously large bill which will make him/her yell loudly and re-injure said throat.”

It just seems like the decent thing to do.
