Land’s End: A Swimsuit Review
I hate bathing suit shopping.
Not only for the normal reasons (really – does anyone LIKE trying on bathing suits in a dressing room under that harsh light?) but also because usually the suit I like in the store usually lets me down on the beach.
Do you know what I mean? You get out there in front of people and suddenly it’s like the suit shrank four sizes – it’s riding up, it’s falling down, and you’re doing your own version of the Macarena trying to keep all of your parts covered.
So when the folks at Land’s End offered to send me a swim suit to try, I was kind of hopeful. I love Land’s End products and know that they usually work out very well for me. Would the swim suit measure up?
After a few weeks of some very hot weather AND a trip to the Dells, I am happy to report that the suit stayed put! And it’s cute too (no – you’re not getting pictures…sorry! I’m only on day two of the Couch to 5K program. I’m going to need to run a lot more before posting those kinds of pictures here.)
So, if you are in the market for a stylish, comfy bathing suit that won’t leave you hangin’ out there, I recommend you get yourself over to your nearest Land’s End (or check them out online – the sizes run pretty true. They also have Swimsuit Fit Experts available to chat instantly). They currently have a 40% of sale on swimwear. Oh, and make sure you’ve signed up for their email list as they are constantly running specials!
Disclosure: Land’s End gave me a swimsuit of my choice to try and test out. The opinions expressed here are my own and were not influenced by any compensation.

Hello!
I was googling lands end product testing and landed on your blog. I am from WI too but north of you. I am wondering how are you able to get all of these products to review? Being a SAHM also with 6 children I am trying to figure out ways to save money and thought product testing might help but it is hard to find. I test baby wipes locally but that is about all I know about. Any advice you can offer is much appreciated!
Thanks!
