Tummy Troubles
I swear that if you go to the doctor when you are not sick, you inevitably pick up some bug while you are there.
Last week, Little J went in for his four year old check-up. He got a great report. At 43 3/4 inches and 41 lbs, he is officially growing like a weed. Everything else looked great including sinuses and ears, his two usual trouble spots.
Saturday, Big J, Little J and his Pop-pop set off to Oshkosh to the EAA Airventure. He went last year and had a blast and had been looking forward to it all week.
They had only been there for a few hours when Little J took a fateful ride on a toy airplane and threw up all over himself. He got home in time to repeat the experience several more times as his fever climbed to almost 103.
After a restless night, he awoke feeling hungry and thirsty so we started slow with a little water and then moved onto dry toast (yuck). Unfortunately, he wasn’t as better as we all hoped. He is spending today on the couch watching Playhouse Disney and Sprout (thank God for On-Demand programming).
On the positive side, he is very cuddly today and I am getting lots of snuggles and hugs.
