Strawberry Cheesecake Overnight Oats Recipe

strawberry overnight oats titleOats are considered one of the healthiest food you can eat. While most people are aware of the heart benefits of eating oats, fewer realize that studies have linked oats to preventing asthma in children, boosting the nutrition in gluten-free diets,  helping with appetite control, boosting the immune system, lowering the risk of type-2 diabetes, and controlling blood pressure. (More data on the possible health benefits of oats can be found at the Whole Grain Council website.) With all of these benefits, why wouldn’t you eat oats every single day? I know for me, it boils down to the fact that I really don’t like oats all that much. Or at least I didn’t before I discovered this amazing Strawberry Cheesecake Overnight Oats recipe!

Seriously, this delicious way to eat oats tastes more like dessert than breakfast and is super easy to make. I love that the work is done the night before which makes this the perfect breakfast recipe for families who are rushed in the morning – like mine!

I think this recipe sounds delicious and perfect for breakfast. I would probably use coconut milk in place of almond milk.
