Which “The Good Wife” Team Are You On – Lockhart/Gardner or Florrick/Agos??
I was a huge ER fan back in the day and one of my favorite characters was nurse Carol Hathaway played by Julianna Margulies. When I heard that she was going to be starring in a new series, I couldn’t help but check it out. That was five seasons ago and I am still a big fan of “The Good Wife”. If you haven’t watched it, it centers around Alicia Florrick who is married to a politician caught having a tryst with a prostitute. The first season dealt with her decision to go out on her own and restart her career as a lawyer (which she had put on hold to raise her family and support her husband).
She landed a job at the Lockhart Gardner law firm which is headed up by Diane Lockhart and Will Gardner who happens to be an old flame. Over the previous seasons, Alicia has had to come to grips with her husband’s actions, his subsequent jail time, as well as sort out her feelings for Will. At the end of last season, Alicia was approached by another lawyer at the firm, Cary Agos, about breaking away from Lockhart Gardner and starting their own firm. She agreed to join the new firm and has been tip-toeing the thin line between the two firms as she tries to wrap up her cases at Lockhart Gardner as she prepares to make the transition to her new firm.

Sunday night, Diane Lockhart figured out what was going on and spilled the beans to Will Gardner. From the previews of this week’s episode, I think it is safe to say that he did NOT take it well. The episode is being described as “explosive”! Since I’m sure you are as anxious as I am to see what is going to happen, here is a link to a sneak peek of the next episode, “Hitting the Fan“. Be sure to turn into the full episode, this Sunday, October 27th at 9/8c on CBS.
