Pure Leaf Iced Tea Review and Recipes
One of my favorite things about summer is the beverages (I know, small things make me happy!). Lemonade, iced coffee, and iced tea are some of my favorite summer treats. I usually do not like iced tea unless it’s freshly brewed which limits my choices when out and about as many of the bottled teas just don’t taste “quite right” to me.
When the Pure Leaf line of bottled teas came out, they promised they would taste more like the fresh brewed tea I love. I was pretty skeptical, but agreed to give it a try. Imagine my surprise when I absolutely LOVED it!! It really does taste just like you brewed it yourself. An added plus is that it does not have any preservatives or artificial anything.
Pure Leaf comes in over 7 different varieties and flavors and is now in new sustainable packaging. The square bottles allow more per pallet and are made of PET plastic, so they are lighter weight and 100% recyclable. If you have a lot of tea drinkers in your home, you can also get Pure Leaf in carafe bottles.
One of my favorite summer drinks is to mix lemonade with iced tea. Because the lemonade adds a bit of sweetness (and I don’t like my tea too sweet anyway) I usually make this with the unsweetened tea.
We recently bought a HUGE box of peaches that we couldn’t eat fast enough, so we froze a bunch. I’ve been finding all kinds of creative ways to use them and even came up with a tea drink with frozen peaches. May I present to you the ….
Tea-licious Peaches and Cream Smoothie
1 C. Pure Leaf Tea
3/4 C. frozen peaches
1/2 C. plain or vanilla yogurt
1 tsp your favorite sweetener (if you used unsweetened tea) I used stevia
Blend until smooth and enjoy!!

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Lipton Pure Leaf. I received product samples and a promotional item to thank me for participating.
