Greetings From the Windy City
Big J and I decided to take a long weekend (sort of a pre-surgery vacation…yeah, we’ll use any excuse for a vacation!) and pop down to Chicago for some sight-seeing and a Buffett concert.
We thought about doing one of those guided tours, but decided to just do our own tour instead.
While wandering around Chicago, we saw some interesting things:
There were giant faces appearing as if out of nowhere.
Every once in a while they would apparently get upset and spit water on the unsuspecting people below.

A little later, we decided that the faces must be some form of alien communication. (We decided this after we found what appears to be their alien spacecraft.)
We learned lots about the local rules and customs

Met a few unsavory characters

We spent some time searching for the Sears Tower ’cause we heard it was fun to go up in. We never did find it, but found another really BIG building called the Willis Tower. We figured it would have to do for now…

Apparently, they want a lot of people from a lot of different countries to come to Chicago in 2016 for some big party. I’ll have to let you know how that turns out.
And did I mention it’s HOT here? This poor person just collapsed right in the middle of the string quartet concert. Her friends just left her here to have her picture taken by tourists!!!
We also found a cute boutique run by some local TV lady – we’re not sure, she seems to go by a few different names: O, Harpo, something like that…

Well, we’re cooling of for a bit in our room at the Hyatt, then it’s off to dinner and the concert. I’ll let you know if anything else strange happens!
The city looks so lovely and peaceful. I love to see it. I wish I could visit there someday. Thanks. Toddler Crafts Susan
It’s a wonderful city i have ever seen!!
