Five Times You Definitely DON’T Want Your Phone to Die – and How to Make Sure It Doesn’t! #AnkerLove

We’ve all been there…It’s the absolute worst time for your phone to die and you see that dreaded bright red battery in the corner. And then it starts blinking and you know you’re really in trouble. Or, if your phone is acting like mine has been lately, it goes from a nice safe 25% to turning off in just a matter of seconds. While this is never a good thing, there are definitely times when having your phone die on you is worse than others. For example:

When you are going on hour two of sitting in the emergency room, waiting to be seen.

Nothing like having to go to urgent care or the ER with your kiddo (or even by yourself) and being stuck waiting for hours with no ability to browse Facebook, check your email, or even stream Netflix. Add a squirmy toddler to the mix and you would give your last dollar to have a game for them to play on your phone or a video to watch…

When you are down a dark country road at night and your car begins making that weird noise.

There’s nothing like being stranded down some dark, creepy road with no cell phone to make you reply that scene in every horror movie you’ve ever seen. Remember that one about the guy in the woods with just a hook for an arm…

When you are on hold with customer service.

You’ve been on hold for over twenty minutes and have heard your third rendition of Wind Beneath My Wings. But no worries – the computerized voice has assured you that you are the next call to be answered. But your phone has different plans as you see the low battery alert pop up…

When you are about to take that once in a lifetime photo.

You waited in line for hours to meet your favorite famous person. You are all set to take that selfie with him/her and whip out your phone to see the dreaded red battery. Guess you shouldn’t have played twenty levels of Candy Crush while you were waiting…

When you are depending on your phone to wake you up.

overslept

We depend on our phones for everything these days – even to be our alarm clocks. You’ve got an important meeting and need to be up early. No worries, you set your phone to wake you bright and early but…

It’s true – there really is no good time to have your phone battery die on you! On way you can make sure that this never happens to you is to carry a reliable back up external battery with you all the time. That’s why I’m thrilled to be partnering with Anker to tell you about the PowerCore+ 10050 .

anker-poewercoreThe Anker PowerCore+ 10050 recharges itself in less than half the time of most typical chargers. This means less time waiting for it to reach full power. Once charged, it holds enough juice to charge your iPhone 6 up to four times! And if that isn’t enough, it charges compatible phones 75% faster. This means you can get up to 8 hours of phone use in just 15 minutes of charging.

Add to that Anker’s 18 month warrantee, its cute travel pouch, and reasonable price and the PowerCore+ 10050 is a winner!

  1. That’s one of my favorite products, I’ve had mine die enough at the wrong time to realize—you don’t want that to happen! I love keeping their Powersource with me!

  2. I just got a portable phone charger from ANKER and it works so fast. I take it with me whenever I leave the house. You are right about being on hold with customer service and panicking because the phone battery is low!

  3. I can think of another one…when you have a newborn and are having hour long breastfeeding sessions! Definitely could use a portable charger!

  4. I love that little travel pouch! A battery pack like this is something I always carry when I travel, but I really need to just have one in my purse all the time.

  5. I feel like I have experience every single one of those horrible situations. My phone dying is a constant fear of mine. This sounds like something I need to be begging of Santa.

  6. I really need this anker charger. I feel so sad every time my phone battery drained and I can’t take photos if needed.

  7. I keep hearing such great things about Anker products. I’m going to have to try them out. I could always use a spare battery pack.

  8. My phone dies all the time. Always when I cannot have it die – it dies! So this would be great. I am tired of it happening and of course never do anything about it, I should!!

  9. The worst experience I had was making an overseas call and my phone died out on me. Since that experience, I am never without my portable charger. A back up power source is a must for me and my family. This Anker brand looks like it is a dependable one to have when you need back up.

  10. Anker seems like a great charger to have. I am always having my phone die when I most need it not to!
