Band-Aid Magic Vision App Takes the Sting Out of Owies

Even though LJ is 7 almost 8 (I keep getting corrected about that!), he still gets a bit over dramatic about every little cut and scrape.  If I don’t distract him, he will go on about the tiniest paper cut for hours.

Band- Aid and the Muppets have teamed up to help moms distract their kids from their minor scratches and bumps with the new Band-Aid Magic Vision App.  Once you have downloaded the free app, you can use your iPhone 4, 4S, iPad 2 or new iPad  to scan the Band-Aid and magically, one of the Muppet characters will spring up out of the Band-Aid and start singing or talking.

The app basically superimposes the character onto your own surroundings (so you have have Kermit swinging off of your child’s arm or Miss Piggy standing on your child’s head).  You can interact with the characters by swinging your phone back and forth to make Kermit swing higher or interact with other characters in a variety of ways.  You can also capture the moment by taking a photo.

I wrote this review while participating in a campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Band-Aid Brand Adhesive Bandages and received a promotional item to thank me for my participation
