American Idol Auditions in Milwaukee

Wow – it seems Milwaukee is the place to be this summer if you want fame and stardom! Not only is the Transformers 3 movie filming (and casting extras) in Milwaukee, but American Idol has announced that it will be holding auditions for the next season’s show here as well.

Men and women ages 15 to 28 can audition at the Bradley Center on July 21st. Previously, the cutoff age had been 16 but idol producers say that the new lowered age allows them to expand the talent pool they are drawing from.

The full list of audition cities and locations is:

Nashville, TN – Saturday, July 17 – Bridgestone Arena
Milwaukee, WI – Wednesday, July 21 – Bradley Center
New Orleans, LA – Monday, July 26 – TBA
East Rutherford, NJ – Tuesday, Aug. 3 – IZOD Center
Austin, TX – Wednesday, Aug. 11 – Frank Erwin Center
San Francisco, CA – Thursday, Aug. 19 – AT&T Park
