Life can be pretty discouraging at times. Whether you are facing financial hardship, employment challenges or health issues, it can be really hard to hold on to your faith and trust in God’s plan. No one knew that more than Rickey Hill whose story is told in the new movie, The Hill.
Rickey was born with physical challenges that left him in leg braces for most of his childhood. As a teenager, he learned that he had a degenerative spinal condition and was told that his dream of playing professional baseball was impossible. The summer’s feel-good movie, The Hill tells of Rickey’s faith and struggles to make his dreams come true. This movie is a perfect movie to bring the whole family to see and discuss afterward!
