Does your child have food allergies?
If your child has food allergies, you know how difficult it can be to find safe AND delicious treats for them. It seems like most prepared foods come with some sort of a warning for those with allergies and it rules out eating a lot of the treats that most kids take for granted.
Many schools have developed strict policies about what foods can be brought in and shared for exactly these reasons.
We realized that our little guy has a walnut allergy last year. Luckily, he had only a mild reaction and complained of his tongue “feeling funny” after eating a few walnuts. I realized what was happening and gave him Benadryl right away. I have kept him away from other tree nuts, just to be safe, although he is fine with peanuts.
If you have spent any time searching for nut, dairy, or egg free treats, you know that it is hard to find tastey ones that are also guarunteed safe. I am happy to share Jill Robbins and Home Free bakery products with you. This line of peanut, wheat, tree nut, dairy, and egg free goodies taste delicious and can be enjoyed by anyone.
Not only are the products delicious and safe, but they are made with organic ingredients as well. They are truly treats that you can feel as good about giving as your child will feel about eating. Treats include a wide variety of cakes and cookies and can be ordered via Home Free’s online store.
