Shrek Ever After Wii Game Review
So, you can just imagine the excitement in our house when Mom Central asked if we’d be interested in reviewing a copy of Shrek Forever After for the Wii.
Once the game arrived, LJ popped it in the Wii and we were entered into the land of Far Far Away. The game mirrors the movie very nicely, even using scenes and dialogue from the actual film. It’s kind of like a summary version of the movie, but interactive.
Before long, the whole family was dodging fiery pumpkins, fighting witches on broomsticks, and trying to find the “escape clause”. LJ loves that he can switch between multiple characters like Donkey, Fiona, Puss, and Shrek, each having their own special skill. There are puzzles to solve and levels to master (but don’t worry – the three blind mice are available to give hints if needed).
Shrek Ever After from Activision is available for the Wii, Nintendo DS, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 and retails for about $49.99.
I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour campaign by Mom Central on behalf of Activision and received the items necessary to facilitate my review. In addition, Mom Central sent me a gift card to thank me for taking the time to participate.
