Take Control of Your Air Quality

I’ve suffered from allergies for most of my life, but they seem to have gotten worse the last couple of years. I’ve never been really sure why they got worse – was it something going on with my body or is the air quality worse and that’s what triggering the reactions I’m experiencing? Up until recently, there wasn’t really a way to easily monitor the air quality in my home, so I wasn’t really sure.

I’m thrilled to be partnering with BlueAir to share some really cool tools they have to help get a handle on exactly what you are breathing, both indoors and outdoors. It all starts with knowing what you are breathing. The Blueair Aware indoor air quality monitor both measures and monitors the air quality in your home. With a quick glance from across the room, you can see if the air you’re breathing is helping or harming your health. It also connects to your smartphone with the Blueair Friend app, and the Blueair Sense+ or the Wi-Fi enabled Classic air purifier via wi-fi.

Since I usually spend 8+ hours a day in my bedroom, I figured that was a great place to put the BlueAir system to the test. I was relieved to see that the air was of basically good quality since indoor air can be two to five times – and occasionally up to 100 times – more polluted than the air outside according to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. However, I did see an almost immediate improvement once I set up the Classic air purifier and let it run through the night.

I love that BlueAir has a purifier model for every size and color space. They offer compact models for those in cramped quarters and vibrant colors for those who like everything to match! No matter what your needs are, they have a model just for you.

Want to know what the air is like outdoors where you live? Blueair, a world-leading expert in air purifiers, recently launched Air View – a free digital service that shows outdoor air hazards across the globe based on a specific address. By visiting https://airview.blueair.com/, you can see a street-level look at pollutants and gases impacting the air nearest you.
