If I Could Turn Back Time

Are you hearing Cher in your head now too? Well, if you’re anything like me, you look in the mirror sometimes and wish that just maybe you could turn back time even if it was just a little bit. You love your kids to death, but wish you could magically get back that firmer tummy. You are glad that your life has been filled with moments that made you smile, but you aren’t loving the lines those smiles have etched into your face. And that saggy jaw? You’re not even sure where the heck that came from!

If you’ve been a long time reader, you might remember back when I shared about Baby Preview and how cool it was that 4D Ultrasounds had finally come to Milwaukee. (It was new back then!!) Well, the former owner of Baby Preview has done it again. She is always on the prowl for the newest and greatest thing. She has sold Baby Preview and opened up Turn Back Time!

Turn Back Time makes use of a new and amazing technology – Tripollar. Tripollar is a way to sculpt the body in a totally painless and nonsurgical way. Maybe it’s just me, but after having had a few non-optional surgeries (remember that tonsillectomy a few years ago? That was NOT fun!!!) it’ll be a cold day you-know-where before I voluntarily go under the knife. So when I heard there was a way to get surgery-like results without actual surgery, I was happy to go check it out.

Now, I was assured that this procedure was completely painless, but still was apprehensive. Being a wimp when it comes to pain (seriously y’all, I cringe when I get my teeth scraped at the dentist!!) I figured I’d take the hit and try it out so I could report to you all whether it really was painless or not. I’m nice to my readers that way!!

I showed up with a full face of make-up which was my first mistake. No it didn’t hurt or anything – I just had to wash it all off before starting. Lorraine but some goop (I’m pretty sure it has some fancy technical name but it was soothing and soft feeling so I just call it goop) and proceeded to rub my face with what looked like the lovechild of a massager and a shower head. And it felt nice – like really nice. Not only did it not hurt, it was like a face massage. Ahhhh.

By the time she moved down to massage my tummy, I was struggling to stay awake. I did ask if anyone ever falls asleep and apparently they do and it’s totally okay. So to the whole “does it hurt – even a little?” I can answer a resounding NO.

But I know you are going to want to try this out for yourself, right? Well, you are in luck! Turn Back Time is offering a free first session if you tell them Wisconsin Mommy sent you! Now – try not to snore too much when you doze off on the table…
